Slab Master was the name of a climbing competition that I designed years ago. The name was inspired by my obsession with setting seriously difficult slab boulders, and a growing group of climbers who would battle over who could send them – and become the “slab master!” For me, slab climbing is the perfect expression of balance, precision, patience, and strength. - Coach Matt Chapman
